Recovery & Aftercare
JUVÉDERM requires little downtime. You may experience mild swelling or bruising for a few days. For 24 hours after treatment, avoid alcohol, vigorous exercise, and sun exposure. How Treatment Works
JUVÉDERM is injected beneath the skin using a fine needle or cannula. Formulas such as Ultra, Volbella®, Vollure®, Volux®, and Voluma® each have unique properties suited to different areas and depths. For example, Voluma is excellent for mid-face volume, while Volbella is often used to refine the lips and perioral lines.
Dr. Curtsinger uses advanced injection techniques and a careful, artistic eye to create balanced results that look refreshed, not “done.” Appointments usually take 30 to 45 minutes, and most patients find the process comfortable thanks to built-in lidocaine and a gentle approach.
